Warranty Policy

1. Definitions & Warranty Details

This Warranty Policy includes the following words/terms, having the meanings assigned as follows:

  • Battery: shall mean the battery provided along with the vehicle.
  • Vehicle: shall mean the Enfinity Electric Scooter.
  • Owner’s Manual: shall mean this document/the manual detailing the technical specifications, usage guidelines, maintenance instructions, and quick start guide.
  • Warranted Part(s): shall mean the battery and each component of the vehicle, other than consumable parts, rubber parts, plastic parts, tyres, or any part which is not covered under this Warranty Policy at Enfinity’s / Global MotoCorp’s sole discretion.
  • Warranty Period: shall commence from the date of purchase of the new vehicle by the first purchaser. The warranty period applicable for each model shall be as per the table provided at the time of purchase. The warranty period specified shall depend on whichever occurs earlier (time or mileage, if applicable).
  • Dealer: shall mean an authorized dealer who has entered into an agreement with Enfinity / Global MotoCorp, pursuant to which the dealer may sell and service the products of Enfinity.

2. Warranty Coverage:

  • Subject to the conditions and exclusions listed herein, Enfinity warrants that it will either repair or replace any Enfinity-supplied part that is found defective in material or workmanship under normal usage conditions through its authorized network.
  • The decision whether a part requires repair, service, rectification, or replacement rests solely with Enfinity.
  • In the event of replacement, Enfinity reserves the right to select and use suitable replacement parts at its discretion.
  • All parts removed under this Warranty Policy shall become the property of Enfinity; the customer shall have no rights therein.

3. Warranty Activation

  • You will receive a warranty card along with the Owner’s Manual at the time of delivery.
  • Please fill in the card and share a screenshot with our representative.
  • Our representative will contact you within 5 days of delivery to confirm warranty activation.
  • Customers must retain their proof of purchase/invoice for availing warranty claims.

4. General Coverage

  • Enfinity warrants that, during the applicable warranty period, the Vehicle and Warranted Part(s) shall be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal usage conditions.
  • The decision whether a part requires repair, service, rectification, or replacement rests solely with Enfinity.
  • All replaced parts become the property of Enfinity.

5. Specific Warranty Exclusions

Enfinity shall not be responsible or liable for warranty coverage in the following cases:

Exclusions (1/6): General Vehicle Components

  • Items subject to wear and tear, such as rubber parts, plastic parts, cables, bolts, seals, consumables.
  • Proprietary items like battery/charger are subject to the warranty terms of their respective manufacturers and will be handled directly by them.
  • Repairs/adjustments caused by improper maintenance, tampering, or misuse of electric components/battery not as per the Owner’s Manual.
  • Normal wear/tear, corrosion, external damages, intrusion of foreign matter, or continued use after a fault is evident.
  • Damages caused by customer negligence, accidents, or natural calamities (flood, earthquake, fire, etc.).

Exclusions (2/6): Cosmetic & Wear Items

  • Cosmetic or surface corrosion due to stone chips or scratches in painted areas.
  • Failures due to improper handling, abuse, or destruction by fire.
  • Cleaning, polishing, or maintenance of vehicle appearance.
  • Replacement of wear items (brake pads, brake lining, etc.) at customer’s expense.
  • Normal noise, vibration, fading, discoloration, or seat cover deterioration.

Exclusions (3/6): Battery Warranty

  • Transferred to another equipment/system/vehicle.
  • Used in non-vehicular applications.
  • Subjected to uneven charging or extreme temperatures.
  • Left fully discharged for extended durations.
  • Damaged due to unauthorized accessories or tampering with the cover.
  • Broken, short-circuited, or charged with non-recommended chargers.
  • Used with unauthorized charging profiles or fast charging options.

Exclusions (4/6): Motor Warranty

  • Motor screws are missing or tampered with.
  • Motor is burnt due to overloading beyond rated capacity.
  • Motor, phase cable, or sensor cable are tampered with.
  • Unauthorized welding is done on motor or related parts.
  • Motor serial number does not match company/dealer records.

Exclusions (5/6): Controller & Charger Warranty

·        Screws are missing or tampered with.

  • Tracks burnt due to overloading.
  • MOSFET (transistor) failure from continuous overloading.
  • Damage caused by water/liquid entering the controller.
  • Enclosure/connector damage.

Exclusions (6/6): Non-Enfinity Components

  • Enfinity is not liable for damages/failures caused by non-Enfinity parts/components.
  • Manufacturers of such parts shall be solely responsible and indemnify Enfinity.
  • Usage outside approved applications/specifications will void warranty.

6.  Warranty Claim Procedure

This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective item. Said repair or replacement is the sole remedy under this warranty.

  • The cost or partial cost of the component may be covered by Enfinity depending on the situation.
  • Due to product evolution and obsolescence, some components may not be available for older models. In such cases, sourcing and paying for replacement components is the responsibility of the EV owner.

7. Battery and Charger

  • Warranty is covered by the battery manufacturer only.
  • In case of defect, the buyer must contact Enfinity customer care and report the issue.
  • The buyer will then be connected to an authorized service center and he must send the battery/charger there for repair or replacement.

8. Motor and Controller

  • In case of defect, the buyer must contact Enfinity customer care and report the issue.
  • The buyer will be connected to an authorized service center and he must send the motor/controller there for repair or replacement.

Notes:

  • Transportation and labour charges are to be borne by the buyer.
  • Repair/replacement may take 7–10 working days after receipt at the service center.
  • Proof of purchase/invoice must be provided to validate the claim
